Anju Choraria Charitable Trust (ACCT) focuses on the empowerment of women and girls because they are disproportionately affected by poverty and discrimination; and suffer abuse and violations in the realisation of their rights, entitlements and access and control over resources. Also, experience shows that, when equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities to overcome poverty, marginalization and social injustice.

Our endeavor is to reach out to women in increasingly innovative ways. At ACCT, we believe in enabling empowerment to women and girls through education, seeing and shaping education processes from a critical, feminist perspective. We promote transformatory formal and non-formal learning processes which enable girls and women from marginalized communities to better understand and address their realities.

For us, gender is just an identity; a way of being and seeing that includes other social dimensions, particularly those of caste, sexuality, religion, class and ethnicity.

ACCT also works at the community-level and undertakes research and advocacy, particularly on critical issues which need greater attention from the State as well as civil society. Developing feminist leadership at the community level is an important part of our mandate.

ACCT has been actively involved with the women's movement and other democratic rights movements since its inception in 2005.

Providing Health care for the under is another mission for the Anju Choraria Charitable Trust. Taking care of health of the slum and weaker section of the society is our aim, as this vulnerable sector of the society are kept untouched with the basic health care facilities. They are not even able to get the basic facilities of the society and at the end, they come in the trap of a number of chronic and acute disease.

The ACCT has taken its initiative for getting these disparities removed. We are providing the highest level of health facilities to the children, adult and elders across the remote areas of Delhi NCR. To address the problems of the underprivileged, ACCT focus on lending a helping hand to uplift the basic health and social needs of underprivileged sections of the society like poor, women, elderly, children etc. Apart from this here, they are also dealing with specific health issues like aids, alcoholism and many more.

The ACCP has launched some healthcare activities and programmes in rural areas. Here, these programmes are based on causes and prevention of the communicable diseases, population control, the health status of people, improvement of the sanitation in the environment and many more. This is being performed effectively with the positive results. The ACCP is continuously scouting the people living here and even providing them with the basic healthcare treatments and medicines.
